Scarlett Stitt (she/they) is an actor and creative based in London. Scarlett has been acting since the age of 11, after starring as Moody Margaret in Vertigo films ‘Horrid Henry’ featuring Anjelica Houston and Richard E. Grant.

She was a member of the Young Actor’s Theatre from an early age, acting in film, television and theatre productions. She trained with Young Pleasance, National Youth Theatre, Lecoq and finally RADA.

She now works professionally as an actor. Most recently she appeared as Cara in Cara and Kelly Are Best Friends Forever For Life by Mojola Akinyemi at the Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh fringe (Lyn Gardner, The Stage - “Scarlett Stitt sparkles like champagne onstage as Cara"). Scarlett also makes her own work, and has just written her first full length play with the support of Soho Theatre, previously winning an Offie Commendation and Audience Choice Award for her show Kissing A Fool which ran at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, and was described as “profound and moving” (⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑ The Student News).

She runs a drag collective called Haus of Intrusive Thots and is a graduate of the Soho Theatre Advanced Drag & Cabaret Lab. She is a recipient of the Jack Petchey Award for Outstanding Young Achiever, and was part of the team that received the Shedinburgh Futures Fund at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025 from Francesca Moody’s production company. She recently received a DYCP grant from the Arts Council. She lives and works in London.
